What is MRF?
Ever had issues where you wish you had to route and collect additional fields from multiple parties instead of just a single person completing a form?
This is exactly what FormSG Multi-Respondent Forms (MRF) is built for. It is likely best to think of who are the respondents.
We understand it can be fairly abstract so we highlighted these respondents in blue with some concrete use cases in education, hope this helps inspire more workflow improvements so educators can save time to focus on things that matter:
2 | [Teachers → RO → Principal]
Staff Leave Application Form | Application for (overseas) leave involves both Reporting Officer (RO) and School Principal Approval. Make this process systematic in your school with FormSG! | This can also be done in Checkpoint if you want teachers to know the status of their application
|
SN | Title | Problem/ use case | Additional Remarks |
1 | [Students → Teacher ICT leads]
IT Ops, e.g. Reset passwords flow
| Students logged out of Student Learning Space, again? School ICT coordinators/ team can batch such cases and inform students once complete. | |
3 | [Students → Teachers]
Extra-curricular participation requests and/or validation
| Your students may participate in lots of external activities (via CCA or other external-to-school activities). Before having it nicely printed on certificates, you may need one layer of check and processing by form teachers.
| |
4 | [Parents → CCA Dept]
Application or change of CCA
| Parents may initiate change of CCAs on behalf of the child. Instead of them emailing incomplete information, direct them to a form instead that routes for approval via CCA department.
| |
5 | [Student → Teacher]
Inclusion of Activities in CCA Certificate | Students may fill in a form containing details of activities they participated in to be included in their CCA certificates, which can be sent to teachers for review and verification. |
